In the world of the dragon-bound: Tarissa Lathetta sang and waited tables in a Silverdale pub where her dragon-bound temper made dealing with rowdy customers difficult. A talented musician, Tarissa dreamed of becoming a bard. Discovering the identity of her father allowed her to study for a career in Silverdale's musical tradition. But it also put Tarissa at the heart of the conflict between the Keepers, power brokers in Silverdale, and the kingdom of Landly. Her personal growth soon meant she had to choose between her heart and her head. Others in the city just wanted her dead.
